U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol Converted to Percussion (AH4680)

U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol converted to Percussion. Manufactured by A. Waters Milbury, Mass. Dated 1843. Gun has two faint inspector cartouches in the stock. Action works perfectly. This pistol shows genuine use. It has a nice brown patina. The stock shows numerous nicks and dings as you might expect in a gun used in battle. At the outbreak of the Civil War many of these were pressed into service!
