Scarce British Pattern 1824 Sea Service flintlock pistol .58 caliber (AH8334)

NSN, .58 caliber 8 7/8" round barrel scarce British Pattern 1824 Sea Service flintlock pistol, with a total production of 1600 made. Overall good condition, metal is a smooth dull grey patina. Wood shows dings and minor scratches from handling wear. Inspector and proof marks are visible throughout. Action holds at half and full cock. The obvious difference in the Sea Service and the Land Pattern is the belt hook attached on the side plate.
