Revolutionary War Period Dutch Cavalry Pistol (AH8343)
Made circa 1750 -1770. 62 caliber with 12 ¾” barrel. This gun has a dark brown to gray patina. Wood is very good. Lock is a banana style. There are worn maker sincs on the top of the barrel that unfortunately cannot be made out. Wood has been refinished at some point. Overall, the wood is very good with some decorative carvings. Very Similar guns are pictured in George Neuman’s books on the Revolutionary war guns.
