U.S. Model 1814 flintlock rifle by H. Deringer .54 caliber (AL8158)

NSN, circa 1814-1817, .54 caliber, 33" octagonal to round rifled barrel. Metal is a smoot brown to grey patina with some scattered dents noted on the barrel. Barrel is unit marked with "CONd G.Hay 1R 1st B 4th D" Stock shows moderate wear with moderate dents and handling marks, a small crack is noted behind the lock plate. "US/H. DERINGER/PHILADA" is marked on the lock plate, action holds at half and full cock.
