U.S. Springfield Model 1898 Krag Bolt action rifle .30-40Krag (R39254)

Serial No. 298548, made in 1901, .30-40 krag, 30" round barrel. Metal is a dark grey patina mixed with original blue. Freckled oxidation is visible on the receiver. Bore is bright with strong rifling noted. Stock is very good shows minor handling and storage wear, 1900 dated cartouche is handsomely stamped left side with "circle P" rear of trigger guard. Action is smooth and functions correctly
