French Model 1837 Naval percussion pistol .60 caliber (AH6785)

NSN, circa 1839, 60 caliber, 5.5" round proofed barrel. Barrel and other iron parts have been lightly cleaned with pin-prick oxidation noted. Barrel tang is marked "M"1837",Lock plate is marked "MRE Rle de Chatallerault". Stock does show usage and handling wear with expected nicks and dings visible.
