Smith & Wesson 1st Model Schofield U.S. Army Issued Revolver. Made in 1875. Nice sharp gun. Barrel has a mixture of original blue and patina mixed together where the metal has a pleasing bluish brown patina. Frame still has 70% of the original blue. Gun is all matching. Action works perfectly. Grips are very good and all matching. Unfortunately, the cartouche has been purposefully removed. Very fine example of a Schofield!
