Simeon North Model 1819 Flintlock Pistol Converted to Percussion. Dated 1821 .54 Caliber smooth bore. Inspectors mark “W” on bolster. Also “JDJ US” on barrel at breech. Sliding hammer safety filled in, probably at time of conversion. Very well stamped lock markings with excellent eagle, shield and North Middleton, Connecticut marking. Action works perfectly. Left side of stock just behind the side plate is a partial inspector’s cartouche. Overall good plus condition.
