Unmarked .36 Caliber Percussion (AH5178)

Unmarked .36 Caliber Percussion.  Percussion underhammer saw hande pistol. Also known as a “Boot Pistol”. Barrel length is 6”. Probably made circa 1850. Barrel is engraved on top flat and side flats with very interesting crypt Designs. Barrel is half round and half octagonal. The action works perfectly. The stock is made of Briar we think. The grip is surrounded by a strip of brass that begins at the rear sight and follows completely around to the under hammer. If you like underhammer New Englnd style pistols this one is very attractive and well made.
