Sharps Borchardt Model 1878 .45-70 (AL4900)

Sharps Borchardt Model 1878 .45-70 caliber rifle. Military rifle. Bore is very good plus, mostly bright with strong rifling. This rifle has approximately 95% original blue. The stocks are solid. Right side of forend has numerous dents that appear to be very similar, as if the gun laid on its side and bumped against something to cause this pattern. Stocks are otherwise good overall. The action works perfectly as does the safety behind the trigger. Comes with an old but complete military sling.
