Winchester 1866 .44 RF (W6926)

Winchester 1866 .44 RF caliber rifle. Made in 1868. The serial numbers ended in 19768 in 1868 and this gun is 19762! Barrel is 24” in .44 RF. This is an early 2nd Model with the Henry marked barrel address, has Henry butt plate. Barrel is nice and sharp with a smooth brown patina and legible address. Brass is excellent and untouched. Gun is all matching. Butt stock has been lightly refinished, butt is original matching wood. Very good, sharp gun and one in superior condition to most of the Henry marked rifles you run across!
