Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army .38-40 caliber revolver. Made in 1923. .38-40 caliber with 5.5 barrel. Excellent Colt Single Action Army factory engraved with nickel finish. This gun is in excellent original condition with 95% original nickel. This gun has beautiful carved eagle pearl grips with Colt medallions. This gun was engraved by Wilbur Glahn and is of much better quality than you normally see. This gun letters as seen with the grips not listed. It was shipped to Shapleigh Hardware Company in St. Louis in 1923. Letter mentions that there is another gun in the records with the same serial number in .45 caliber, instead of 38-40.
