Victory model sold through the United States Defense Supply Corporation and subsequently shipped on February 22, 1944 to the Illinois State Armory, Springfield, Illinois. The United States Defense Supply Corporation was a government formed corporation in 1940-1945 for the purpose of acquiring arms and strategic supplies for dispersion to other Government entities.
