Turkish (Ottoman Empire) Flintlock Pistol (AH4251)
Turkish (Ottoman Empire) Flintlock Pistol. Barrel length 11 ½” and overall length 18 1/8”. Engraved brass furniture. Well carved stock. Lock is probably Italian as many Middle Eastern guns are made with Italian or Spanish locks. Middle Eastern barrels are mostly made in the Middle East but the locks which were complicated were imported. Gun works perfectly and is in very good condition. Circa 1730.
