Allen & Wheelock Center Hammer Army Revolver. .44 Caliber. Barrel length 7 ½”. Bore is very good. Action works perfectly. Allen & Wheelock barrel address on barrel extension left side. Gun appears to be serial #40 and marked 40 on the parts. Grips are very good with approximately 95% factory varnish. Flayderman notes 700 made, possibly more. Fine and rare Allen.
