Colt Early 3rd Model Dragoon .44 caliber revolver. This is a very crisp 3rd Model with sharp edges and excellent cylinder scene. Gun has an even patina and barrel shows light etching. It may have been wrapped in a damp cloth or poorly stored to cause the etched spots. Case colors have fate to gray. Wedge has no number. All other parts including the grips match. There is a small chip out of the grips at the front toe on each side. Overall this is a fine and sharp Dragoon.
