Jmman Meffert suhl Drilling 16 gauge / 8X57 JR. shotgun. Rare light weight German hunting gun. Shotgun barrels have 2 9/16 chambers and modified chokes. Gun is in excellent condition. Does not show much use. Has base for claw mount. No scope with gun. Rear sight pops up from safety on tang. Nice checkering on fine wood stock. Horn butt plate. Light engraving on metal parts. Barrel marked Jmman Meffert. Bores excellent. Pistol grips cap made of horn. Manufactured in 1930's.
