U.S. Model 1816 Contract Musket by M.T. Wickham (AL4657)

U.S. Model 1816 Contract Musket by M.T. Wickham. Production ran from 1822-1837, about 16,600 were made during that time. Metal is in the brown. Barrel does have some dings and scratches between the front sight and barrel band, possibly occurred from the barrel being struck by an object. Stock is good, has a crack between front sight and barrel band. Two cartouches are present. Great looking 1816 that has seen some action!
