American Flintlock Fowler Barrel Marked A. Collier (AL4875)

American flintlock fowler barrel marked A. Collier. We cannot find “A. Collier” as an English or American gunmaker. However, this is a very attractive fowler 10 Gauge bore with two-stage octagonal to round barrel. Barrel length 32⅞”, and overall length is 48⅞”. Lock is marked “warranted” and has a roller frizzen. This fowler has silver accents on circumference of the lock, on barrel wedges, and on nose cap, and a silver device behind breech plug tang, as wee as behind trigger guard tang. This is a well-cared for Fowler in overall very good condition. Note: Barrel breech plug has silver bands and silver touch hole plug.
