Bowie Knife by Wragg (K1395)

Bowie Knife by Wragg 25 Furnace Hill, Sheffield. Blade is etched "Palo Alto" for the famous Mexican-American War Battle. Blade is 8" and overall length is 10 1/2" This is a cutlery handle Bowie but with a thick substantial blade that could actually be used in a fight as opposed so many modern fakes with false makers stamps and thin flimsy blades suitable for the tourist trade. Blade has about 90% original polish and some scattered rust stains. Has the original scabbard in very good condition. Nice condition a real example of a cutlery handle Bowie.
