Colt 1851 Navy Early 3rd Model (C15885)

Colt 1851 Navy Early 3rd Model. Made in 1851. This one of the earliest known 3rd model 1851 Navy being serial number 3666. The earliest recorded 3rd Model is 3620. Nice sharp gun with dark gray patina with some traces of blue. Cylinder scene is still visible and very good. Most of the guns from this period are square back trigger guards. Grips are excellent. Bore is very good. Action works perfectly and locks up tight. Very nice early 3rd Model Navy
