Rare and Possibly Unique Four Barrel Rifle/Shotgun Combination Gun (AL5113)

Rare and Possibly Unique Four Barrel Rifle/Shotgun Combination Gun. This percussion gun has cluster barrels, two rifle/two shotgun. Rifle barrels are approximately .36 caliber and shotgun barrels are 16 Gauge. Each barrel, including the shotgun barrels, have their own front sight. Barrels are hand rotated by lifting up a tab in front of the trigger, which allows the barrels to rotate as a group. The breech is “black” and rotates with barrels. It allows access for removing fired percussion caps and replacing them with new ones. No proofs, makers name or markings on gun. Metal parts have an even, smooth and pleasing patina. No pits and no damage. Stock is good to very good with light handling marks with no cracks, no chips or repairs. This is a single action style mechanism. So, the hammer has to be thumb-cocked to fire each individual barrel, as they advance by hand rotation. This is a very well-made oddity, one of the most unusual gun we have seen.
