Made in 1918. .45 ACP with a 5” barrel. This gun does not have any original finish, yet remains a pretty sharp gun overall. Barrel is replacement out of a Colt. Grips are very good. Bore is very good. Hard to find Remington UMC 1911. This is one of the scarcest contracts of the U.S. Military.

(John T. Thompson) on the left grip. Note: right and left side bottom of grip is marked in small letters “N.G. Toms”. Very likely the person to whom the revolver was issued. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Revolver is stamped U.S. Army Model 1899. Gun has approximate34ly 85-90% blue. This is a named 1st Model with very early serial.
