U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol Converted to Percussion (AH4681)

U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol converted to percussion by “A. Waters, Milbury, MS.” Lock dated 1843. This is an interesting pistol. Metal parts are very good. The stock is very good and has both inspector’s cartouches plainly visible. There is an “H.W.H.” mark near the cartouches. There are also front grip strap markings “KWH” over some underlying markings “H.F. TBAX or TBAL?? These are partially filed, so hard to read. Decent gun with eye appeal.
