W.W.Marston Percussion Small Frame .31 caliber revolver. Barrel length 4 ½”. 5-Shots, barrel marked “The Union Arms Co”. These revolvers bearing the manufacture names Union, Phenix and Western were trade names for James Reid of New York City. This is the second type of this revolver. They were made from 1858 to the early 1860’s. They bear a similar design to the Whitney revolver. Has approximately 60% blue. Grips have 98% original varnish. No chips no cracks. The action works correctly.
