Colt 1878 for the Canadian Military with Holster. Barrel: 7.5” long. Caliber: .45 Colt. Serial 14981, marked on the back strap R.C.A., probably for the artillery. Holster marked outside 685 and inside 130.
Colt 1878 DA Frontier Six Shooter made in 1884. Nice sharp gun with an excellent etched panel. This gun has been cleaner, but the panel still remains sharp. Action works well and cylinder locks up tight.
Colt 1878 Double Action. Made in 1979, nickel finish with approximately 60% of the original nickel with the rest being bare metal. Grips have a piece missing on the back strap on both sides. Ejector rod is a replacement. Missing lanyard swivel. Good looking Western gun!
Very Fine Colt 1878 Double Action. Made in 1894. Excellent original finish with 80% of the nickel remaining. Screws and trigger still have trace amounts of the original blue. Action works perfectly, and gun locks up tight. Grips are very nice.

Colt 1878 Frontier Double Action .44-40 caliber revolver. Excellent bore and grips are very good. Gun has about 50% blue. Note: This gun is double action only. There is a pin added to the hammer screw that prevents the hammer being pulled all the way back for single action. Works great as double action.

Colt 1878 Double Action .44-40 caliber revolver marked "Frontier Six Shooter" on barrel. Barrel is 7 1/2" and bore is very good. Gun retains about 95% of an old nickel refinish that was very well done and actually looks original.

Has factory rework star and rework numbers. Original factory letter shows 7 1/2" barrel and blue. Shipped to Sears & Roebuck Co, Chicago, Illinois in 1900. Gun is excellent with 98-99% factory nickel. Beautiful 1878.
