Colt 1878 Double Action .45 caliber revolver. Manufactured approximately 1878. Bore has good rifling and has some corrosion in the grooves. Gun has about 80% original nickel with the rest flaking. Grips are very good with no cracks or chips.

Colt 1878 .45 LC caliber revolver. Beautiful 5 1/2" nickel D.A. with fine old pearl grips. Gun was sent back to Colt for the 5 1/2" barrel and for the nickel plating. Has factory rework star and rework numbers. Original factory letter shows 7 1/2" barrel and blue. Shipped to Sears & Roebuck Co, Chicago, Illinois in 1900. Gun is excellent with 98-99% factory nickel. Beautiful 1878.
