Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber revolver. Made in 1861. Has 7½” barrel in .36 caliber. Metal has been cleaned and shows a fair amount of wear. All metal has light gray patina. Serial number is hard to read, but trigger guard is mismatched, yet matches the condition of the rest of the gun. Grips are replaced. Action indexes and locks up tight.

Beautiful Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber revolver. Made in 1853. Beautiful gun with 95% of the original finish on the barrel. Cylinder has excellent scene. There is a ring near the front of the cylinder where the trigger guard screw was too long and left a mark. Case colors are a little dark but still present. Most of the silver remains on the back strap and trigger guard. Grips are excellent....
Colt 1851 Navy with Carved Mexican Ivory Grips. Made in 1857. Metal has a gray patina with spots of pitting. Gun is all matching except the cylinder. The name C. Dietz has been machine engraved on the butt. Grips are excellent original old carved ivory with a Mexican eagle and snake. Very attractive gun that is sure to have had an interesting history.
