Colt U.S. Military

SN: 42370. Made in 1911, .45LC with a 5.5" barrel. Bore is very good. Pre-WWI US military revolver in very fine condition. Has about 85% original blue finish. The grips have one small chip out of the bottom. The action and lock up are excellent. A very nice example.

SN: 1542. Made in 1918. .45 ACP with a 5" barrel. Bore is good with strong rifling. National Ordnance frame with WW2 M1911A1 slide that has been chrome plated with gold controls. Finish is in good condition with handling wear noted. Custom grips are in near excellent condition. Overall good condition.

SN: 112403. Made in 1915. .45 with a 5" barrel. Bore has frosting noted in the grooves with strong rifling. WWI Colt M1911 that has been rearsenal and has received a parkerized finish with the short M1911A1 type trigger. Finish is in fair condition with heavy wear noted on the frame. Serial number 2285573. Made in 1945. 45 Acp caliber with a 5” barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 95% of arsenal finish showing just high edge wear. This gun has an English proofed barrel. Grips are excellent.

SN: 12857. Made in 1937. 22 LR caliber with a 6” barrel. This gun is in very fine condition with 85% of the original blue. Grips are excellent. The backs strap is marked “U. S. Serial number 33813. Made in 1877. 45 LC caliber with a 5 ½” barrel. This gun has a mostly gray patina with original finish in the protected areas.  The frame is Louis Draper inspected which is one of the most rare of the government inspectors. Grips show a fair amount of wear. There is a number lightly scratched into the barrel.

Serial number 116114. Made in 1885. 45 LC caliber with a 5 ½” barrel. This is a very fine Artillery Model with 40% - 50% of the original blue. Case colors are still visible on the frame. The grips show some wear and have been refinished to where you cannot see the cartouches.

SN: 395074. Made in 1918. .45 with a 5" barrel. Bore is bright with strong rifling, minor frosting is noted in the grooves. Desirable World War I Colt 1911 with Colt's "Rough Finish" also known as the "Black Army" for its dark finish. Serial number 568010. Made in 1943. 32 ACP caliber with a 3 ¾” barrel. Gun is in mint condition, unfired still coated in cosmoline. Serial number 922575. Made in 1943. 45 ACP with a 5” barrel. This gun has 90% of the original parkerized finish. Grips are excellent. 

Serial number 156612. Made in 1917. 45 ACP with a 5” barrel. Gun is in mint condition. Impossible to improve upon.

Serial number 342489. Made in 1918. 45 ACP caliber with a 5” barrel. This is an exceptional condition for a “Black Army” The “Black Army” guns have a much darker, almost black color than the earlier guns that had more of a blue hue. Grips show a little wear. 

Serial number 279759. Made in 1918. 45 ACP caliber with a 5” barrel.  Excellent condition with 97% of the original blue finish. Grips are excellent. Gun is in unissued condition and about as good as it gets.

SN: 311419. Made in 1918 by COLT's Patent Firearms with a 5.03-inch barrel. Pistol is equipped with the short tang grip safety, a Type C long beavertail hammer, long trigger, Type B "U" notch rear sight, the Type 1 flat mainspring housing & a Type 3 "round detent" recoil spring plug. The frame is marked with an eagle head "S11" inspection mark on the left side above the magazine release....

SN:1704608. Made in 1944. .45 ACP with a 5" Barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. WWII Military pistol. The gun has been arsenal refurbished and has 95% finish. Grips are original WWII plastic and are in very good Condition. Frame has G.H.D on left side of trigger and slide p proof mark on top of slide. Overall condition is very good. (CONSIGNMENT)

SN: 256180. Made in 1918, .45 ACP with a 5" barrel. Bore is very good with light wear. WWI issue U.S. military pistol. Has about 90% original finish with some pitting on the slide. The grips are very good. A good looking Colt 1911 except for the pitting. Consignment.

Serial No. 194384E, made in 1919, .45ACP, 5.5" round barrel. Dull parkerized finish is starting to turn to a light grey patina. Bore is good with light surface frosting visible in the grooves. Two piece wooden grips have expected handling wear with nicks, dings and scratches noted. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up. Consignment

SN:8. Made in 1889. .38 cal with a 6" barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. United States Navy Revolver number 8! The barrel has been replaced with a later version, with the 1905 patent date. The barrel has 80% original blue finish. Receiver and all other metal parts have grey patina with traces of factory blue. Original wood grips have been sanded, the word "Hippo" carved on...

NSN, made in 1864, .58 caliber, 40" round rifled barrel with standard proof marks visible. Barrel is a dull grey patina with light surface oxidation noted, rear leaf sight is missing. Stock has been lightly cleaned at some point with minor nicks, dings and scratches visible. Action holds at half and full cock.
