Made in 1872-73. 44 RF caliber with a 7 1/2" barrel. The metal has a smooth dark gray patina with areas of light pitting. This gun has army sized grips that have diamond in lays on both sides. The barrel has been lengthened from approximately 2 5/8" forward to the muzzle. Action works well.

Colt 1871-72 Open Top revolver. Open Top with excellent old grips. This gun has a great old west feel to it. Traces of nickel remain on the metal. Excellent old grips. Barrel has expertly been lengthened the last 3”. Great looking and has a good “Old West” feel!
