Spencer heavy barrel sporting .46 caliber rifle with 30" barrel and very good bore. Barrel marked "W.R. Burkhard, St. Paul". Burkhard was a gun maker and dealer in St. Paul from 1855 to 1880. Barrel is a very sharp blue-brown mix patina. Good plus to very good stock. Excellent mechanically. Very neat looking Minnesota marked sporting rifle.
