Savage 99 .303 Savage caliber carbine. Rare pre-war carbine with 20" barrel, barrel band and Redfield peep sight. The metal is very good with a few spots of very light surface rust, and a couple of screw holes on the barrel by the rear sight blank. The action is tight and the bore is excellent. The wood is very nice with a few marks. A very desirable Savage 99 carbine.
