Civil War era Sword by Ames dated 1863, blade in 34.5" in length. Metal finish is a dark grey patina with chips visible at the blade's edge. Blade is in very good condition, has been polished. Brass handle has lost color and wire is coming loose. Comes with scabbard. Overall in good condition.

Circa 1830, with a 31.5" blade, two thirds of the blade have a beautiful deep blue with etched and gilded foliate. Chain is attached from Eagle's mouth to the brass stacked ball counter-guard. Checkered and fanned bone grip is in near excellent condition. Brass scabbard does show handling and usage wear. 

Circa 1801-1805, Rare Double Headed Eagle sword. Curved blade is 27" in length, etching is visible on the blade with traces of blue present. Chips are noted in the blade, Brass handle, guard and pommel are a nice untouched patina. This sword is pictured in "The American Eagle Pommel Sword" By Mowbray on page 54. One of the Rarest American swords to own!

Circa 1769, 26" blade with a silver Eagle pommel. Ivory grooved hilt is dyed green. Cross guards and finals have an eagle like appearance, guard and pommel are connected by a chain. Sword comes with a beautiful brown leather scabbard that still has a faint pattern visible. Scabbard throat has an Eagle engraved.
