Massive double barrel flintlock pistol with 65 caliber bore. 7” barrel and 13” overall length. The top of the barrelis marked “Lacy & Co London”. Lock is marked “Lacy &Co “ .Barrels are nice and sharp and have been refinished. Barrel has spots of pitting. Wood is nice and sharp and have been refinished as is the checkering . The lock has rolling Frizzens which puts the production somewhere between 1810-1825. Howdah pistols like this were named for the guns used in the baskets (Howdah) used in India that people rode in on an elephant. Very fine English Howdah Pistol.

  • Confederate  Griswold & Gunnison Revolver.
All matching gun and all original. Back strap has been repaired where it meets the frame. Condition is the typically well used that you see with Confederate guns. Metal has been cleaned and has light gray patina with pitting throughout. Action works well and locks up tight. These guns were the greatest number produced out of the Confederate handguns made.
