  • Lindsay Two Shot Pocket Pistol. This is a superposed load where the percussion loads were stacked on top of each other. The double hammers fired in proper sequence squeezing the trigger drops the hammer on the load most forward while squeezing again drops the other hammer on the rear load. Brass frame is scroll engraved. The .41 caliber barrel right side of barrel is marked Lindsay’s Young America, Manufactured by J.P. Lindsays Man’F’D Co. New York. Left side of barrel has a wild animal (lion?), star studded flags and an eagle?. The right side of the barrel has easily visible lettering. The left side with the scene is worn. Rare pistol of derringer size.

  • British Heavy Cavalry Pattern 1796 Flintlock Pistol. Crown GR (George Rex) aka King George III. Tail of lock marked Ketland & Co. Bore is approximately .80 caliber. Action works perfectly. Pistol conforms to figure 49 in Robert Brookers book British Military Pistols 1603-1888. Barrel has 98% of a military blue finish and was applied later. Stock is solid, no chips or cracks. Grip is checkered wood. The Ketland & Co. mark on the tail of the lock leads us to think this may be an East India Company pistol. Overall condition is very good. This is a stout manly pistol!

  • Fine Pair of English Flintlock Pistols. Made approximately 1700-1720. Bore is .65 caliber. Barrel length 12” and overall length 19 ¾”. Barrel proof is for London with Crown CP and Crown V for final inspection proof. Barrels are three stage. Tail of lock is engraved with a panoply of arms. The name Pasual is also on the tail of the lock. No other makers marks are present. This is a robust pair of pistols. The engraved and chiseled brass mounts with a panoply of arms in high relief consisting of drums, canons, lances, banners and armor. The butt cap is that of a man with oak leaf wreath about his head much like a Roman emperor. The stock is inlaid with royal device with crown and cameo of a figure with plumed helmet. The trigger guard is in chiseled in relief. The side plate is very well done with figures of fanciful figures in Rococo scrolls and a cameo of the same helmeted figure as mentioned before. The overall condition of both pistols is excellent. We can only guess that the lack of a maker’s name might be at the request of the owner. Very impressive pair of fine flintlock pistols.

  • Rare US Model 1813 Flintlock Pistol by Simeon North.
Manufactured 1813 to 1815 .69 caliber. Smooth bore, 9 1/16” barrel length. Research indicates that 1000 pistols were delivered to the Navy and 626 to the Army. This pistol has the Steel belt hook on the left side of the pistol and makes this a Navy pistol (no Belt hook for the Army pistols) The initials “ET” for Edward Trenchard are clearly seen on the left side just behind the rear tang of the belt hook. Trenchard was the US inspector for the Navy shipped pistols. Lock marked North and DLN Con. The S for U.S is sharp the eagle and “U” are worn and not visible. The barrel has the P and U.S on the left side and the letter “H” on the right side. The lock functions perfectly and holds half and full cock.  Frizzen operates perfectly. Stock is good plus to very good with no chips, no cracks and no repairs. This is a very desirable 1813 North, being a Navy issued pistol and having trenchard’s initials.

Approximately .36 caliber. Barrel Lengths are 8”. Barrels have a fine Damascus pattern. The frame is scroll and floral engraved. Grips are ebony. Action works and barrels rotate perfectly. Barrels are numbered to match the numbers on the breech. Breech has ELG proof for Belgium as are all Mariette Brevetts. Note: This is a very rare revolver as we usually see 4” barrel Mariettes. This is the only 8” Mariette we have seen. This revolver has the barrel key tied to the ring trigger. The key turns the barrels for removal for cleaning, etc. If you buy this rare revolver, don’t lose the barrel key!

  • Unusual Manton, London Marked Adams Type Double Action Revolver. Top flat of barrel is marked “Manton London” in very small lettering. 5-Shot in approximately .45 caliber. Adams type side lever for loading and Adams frame configuration but no Adams markings. This is a percussion revolver. Barrel length 5”. Grips are checkered and are in excellent condition. Cylinder has very good blue with numerous nicks and dings. Action works perfectly. This revolver is possibly a pistol sold by Manton under George and Gildon Manton in the 1854-1856 period when the Manton’s were at odds with each other and the quality of their work suffered.

  • Webley Mark I British Service Revolver. Serial number 36020. This revolver has approximately 95-96% blue. The action works perfectly. This is a Navy issued revolver with broad arrow mark on top strap. Also “N” on back of the pistol grip. Bore is excellent with bright bore and strong rifling. Grips have a chip out of both left and right grips. Overall, this is an excellent example of a Mark I. These early Mark I revolvers are antique and do not require FFL paperwork. Note: This revolver has the back of the cylinder milled to use the .45 ACP cartridge using half moon clips for loading. A great many of these Mark I’s and many others were milled when they were “decommissioned” by the British and imported to the U.S. This is the best condition Mark I we have owned.

  • Stevens-Lord No 36 Single Shot Pistol. The 10” part-round/part octagon barrel has approximately 95% blue. The .22 S & LR bore is fine. The nickel plate frame, grip straps, trigger guard, and butt have approximately 90% nickel. The very finely checkered grips have some wear but are in overall very good condition. The barrel marking is very lightly stamped with J. Stevens A&T Co./Chicopee Falls Mass, Pat. Sept. 6, 1864. This gun is circa 1890. The pistol is named for Frank Lord, a prominent shooter of the period. The action functions correctly. This is a nice example of an early .22 caliber target pistol.
