U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor .45-70 Govt caliber rifle. U.S. military rifle made in 1875. block and breech block are marked 1873. Correct rear sight. Stock is very good plus with nice cartouche comes with sling. Bore is very good. Very good overall condition. An early Trapdoor rifle with long wrist, high arch breech block and low profile sight.
