New York Engraved Smith & Wesson 1st Model American. Made in 1871. .44 American caliber. Absolutely beautiful gun with 90% of the original nickel finish. We believe this is New York Engraving and it was probably shipped to M. W. Robinson who was the Smith & Wesson Distributor. Engraving is very well done with intertwined scrolls. Grips are very good. Gun is all matching. Came out of an old Texas Collection!!!
