British Snider Conversion of an 1853 Enfield Percussion Rifle. This example is of a 36 ½” “long” Enfield. Lock is marked Tower 1870. Bore is mint. Barrel has 98% original blue and lock and breech door have 98% bright original case colors. Butt plate has 98-99% original blue. Stock shows some light handling marks. This Snider Conversion is excellent! The Sniders were well used over the majority of the empire!
