Winchester 1885 Low Wall .22 Short caliber musket. U.S. “Winder” WWI musket in .22 Short. 28” Round barrel with excellent bore. Approximately 92% blue overall with normal finish flaking on the receiver and rear sight. “U.S.“ and ordnance bomb on top of receiver to the rear of the hammer. Acton works correctly. Stocks are fine with a few rack dents, no cracks or chips. U.S. Army bought Winder muskets for training in WWI. This is an above average example of this U.S. martial .22 caliber training rifle.
