Stevens Tip Up Rifle with Forearm (AL4531)

Stevens Tip Up Rifle with Forearm. This rifle is for .44 Rimfire. Which we believe is a rare caliber in the model. Barrel length 30”. Bore is mostly bright with excellent rifling in. Barrel was reblued long ago and the barrel address is buffed and is approximately 90% visible. The underside of the barrel has some light to medium scratches that got blued over, we assume, when the whole barrel was refinished. The frame, tang and trigger guard have 90% original nickel. The tang is drilled for tang sight (not present) and front sight is a folding breech. The stock has 95% original varnish and the buttstock has fancy figure wood. Note: The forend is correct for this model rifle but the serial number does not match. All other numbers are matching. Hard to find model in nice condition.
