U.S. Springfield 1868 Trapdoor .50-70 caliber rifle. U.S. Springfield Trapdoor rifle .50-70. Barrel has light pitting in some areas, bore is excellent. Receiver and breech block are in original factory black. Hammer and lock plate have beautiful case coloring. Stock is in very good condition with cartouches present. Minor dings from storage and handling wear. Overall a great looking rifle.
