Cased Deluxe Factory Engrave Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver (C13237)

Cased deluxe factory engrave Colt 1849 pocket revolver. Made in 1856. Very fine factory engraved Colt 1849 pocket. This gun is deluxe engraved with a panel scene on the left hand side of the barrel lug. Engraving is Gustave Young with tight scroll engraving that remains nice and sharp. Cylinder scene is excellent. Gun is all matching. Gun works perfectly. This gun comes with a letter from noted author R.L. Wilson which he calls this gun “engraved by Gustave Young in his best style just one step below the gold inlaid guns”. Gun is in a dealer contour case with flask, mold, nipple wrench and some bullets. Very fine set!
