German Model ’71 11mm caliber Carbine. German ’71 carbine made by Schilling in 1877. 11mm Caliber. Butt plate is unit marked B.R.S.1.21 [Byerisches Scheweres Reiter-Regement (Bauarian heavy cavalry regiment)]. Serial numbers are matching. Bore is excellent. Wood is very good with nice cartouches. Very good overall condition. A desirable ’71 carbine that is Bavarian Heavy Cavalry marked. Very hard to find a really nice carbine like this, as most saw heavy use!
