Colt 1901 .38 Colt new army revolver. Excellent condition with isolated pit on right sde of barrel near the muzzle and some minor spots on the cylinder. Gun has 96% blue, and an excellent bore and grips. Factory letter to Springfield Armory in 1900. (This was probably an 1896 gun returned for arsenal rework and reissue as letter shows 1900 on date and gun shows 1901 on butt.)
