Smith & Wesson Number 2 Army (AH3319)

Smith & Wesson Number 2 Army Revolver. Inscribed and Identified to Davis Cossitt. 5" barrel and a a really nice gun overall. 90% original bright blue on metal. Grips are excellent. Early gun, serial number 4545. Action is tight and bore is excellent. Cossitt attained the rank of captain in the 122nd New York Volunteers. He was wounded by a shotgun and eventually was honorably discharged. Accompanying this gun is his muster rolls and the documents concerning his pension. Very nice historical Civil War piece!
