Maynard Model 1865 Sporting Rifle (AL5099)

Maynard Model 1865 Sporting Rifle. Made in mid-1860s. Has a 26” .40 caliber barrel. Very nice gun with approximately 50% original blue on barrel. Frame has a dark gray to silver colored patina. This gun has a Beech front sight and factory tang sight. Wood is excellent. Bore has strong rifling, but dark overall. Very nice sporting rifle!
