Colt “Super Match” .38 Super (C16386)

Colt “Super Match” .38 Super caliber pistol. A very interesting “upgrade” Super Match pistol, with late serial number (37XXX). This gun does not letter as an original Super Match from the factory, it letters as a standard model Super .38. The work is so excellently done that we believe that it must have sent back to Colt to be upgraded to Super Match configuration. The gun is in excellent condition with 98% correct pre-war style blue. The grips are excellent. The bore is good with some light etching. The sights are the correct factory target sights. The gun looks incredibly original and correct, but it won’t letter. With a real Super Match in this condition pushing $20 Grand, this is your chance to get a great looking substitute at a reasonable price. If you have a real Super Match already, this could be your loaner gun!
