Very Rare 1900 Army Contract .38 Auto (C16527)

Very rare 1900 Army contract .38 Auto caliber pistol. Made in 1900. Has a 6” barrel in .38 Auto caliber. This gun is one of the rare 1st Army contract with a “US” on the left-hand side of the trigger guard. Only 75 guns were in this contract. Metal has a dark mottled gray patina with original blue in protected areas. The grips are very good with sharp cartouches. This gun was a sight safety that has been converted. Very rare U.S. Martial pistol!
