Beautiful Deluxe Colt Medium Frame Lightning .32-20 (AC119)

Beautiful Deluxe Colt Medium Frame Lightning .32-20 caliber rifle. Made in 1895. Has an 18” half round/half octagon .32-20 caliber barrel. Gun is in fantastic condition with 98% original blue with 90% case colors. This gun has absolutely fabulous deluxe checkered stock and forearm in excellent condition. Gun has a special-order half magazine. It is extremely rare to find a case-hardened Colt Lightning rifle, as most all produced were blued. This gun comes with a factory letter confirming all features. There are two entries where it was shipped out originally to C W Hackett Hardware in St. Paul, MN, then to William Read and Sons in Boston, MA. The letter makes no mention of checkered stocks, but the original entry notes that the stock was “polished” which indicates this was a deluxe stock. Absolutely beautiful gun!
