German Luger BYF 41 Code 9mm Luger (PR51063)
German Luger BYF 41 Code. Caliber 9mm luger. Made by Mauser in 1941. This is a “so called Russian Capture” pistol that came over in the1960’s These are caricaturized by rebluing over heavily polished metal and may have markings that don’t seem to have any reason to be there, such as the letter "X" on the left side of the frame just forward of the sideplate. The bore is perfect and the barrel has no serial number but does have a crown over “N” ,normally found on earlier period Lugers. Aside from the barrel, the rest of the pistol serial numbers match. The pistol has approximately 93 to 95% of the reblued. The action works perfectly. The magazine is an FXO / P.O8 extruded magazine. The grips are sharp and fit very well . Reasonably priced and an attractive looking WW II Luger.
