"The Best Damn Gunshop in the World" 7626 Westheimer @ Voss, Houston, Texas 77063
Union army issue. Civil War period. Serial numbers are matching. Cylinder scene is good but not entirely visible. Military inspectors initials are on the backstrap and the cylinder and barrel near the wedge. The bore is good with strong bright lands and has wear in the grooves. The grips are good plus with a small chip on each side of the toe. The screws are all very good plus. The action works perfectly and indexes and locks up perfectly. Barrel address is sharp and clear. Overall the revolver has a light patina. This is a very good example of the revolver that was the work horse of the Union Army.
